Quickbooks seems to be the best one for home-based businesses and is scaleable, but in order to use its complete functionality you need some training. It has built-in tutorials and help functions.
DacEasy has been used for a longer time and is more geared to companies that are a little larger.
Then there are some free online accounting packages now available with scaled down functionality.
Depending on your specific business details you may want to spend an hour with a bookkeeper to design the best for you so you don’t find yourself having to re-enter everything once your business grows.
